MURATBEY STANDS BEHIND MILK FAIRIES
Indicating that Muratbey is striving to increase the presence of women in business and to encourage their economic freedom, Necmi Erol, Chairperson of Muratbey Board of Directors, said: “We are committed to adding value to women's employment and labor in order to contribute to the sustainable development journey of our country. In this sense, we implemented the ’Women Adding Value to Cheese’ project in 2018 in order to contribute to the milk and dairy products industry, support milk producers and strengthen the presence of women in milk production.
Indicating that Muratbey is striving to increase the presence of women in business and to encourage their economic freedom, Necmi Erol, Chairperson of Muratbey Board of Directors, said: “We are committed to adding value to women's employment and labor in order to contribute to the sustainable development journey of our country. In this sense, we implemented the ’Women Adding Value to Cheese’ project in 2018 in order to contribute to the milk and dairy products industry, support milk producers and strengthen the presence of women in milk production. We had developed the contents of the training we provided to our producers, increased their scope, and transformed these training sessions into a systematic and sustainable form thanks to our project. In this way, we paved the way for women to carry out a more qualified production. Muratbey delivers its innovative cheese produced with quality milk sourced from women in the dairy industry, which it defines as milk fairies, to more than 50 thousand points in Türkiye and 5 continents of the world. At Muratbey, our support for our milk fairies who add their labor and love to milk will continue to increase as it has until now with our mission to contribute to both our industry and Türkiye. We aim to reach more women producers in the upcoming years as a female-friendly company.”
