HALF MOON PASTRY

Ingredients

For filling:

  • 200 gr Muratbey Cheesoft  
  • 6-7 sprigs of finely chopped dill
  • Black pepper

For dough:

  • 2 glasses of flour
  • 3/4 glass of water
  • 1 tablespoon of vinegar
  • Salt

PREPARATION

First, let's knead the dough in a deep bowl, cover it and let the dough rest for half an hour. Then, let's mash the Muratbey Cheesoft in a bowl. Add the chopped dill and black pepper and mix. Let's divide the dough into 10 pieces and roll them into balls. Let's open it in the size of a cake plate on the counter where we sprinkle flour, spread the cheese mix on one half, cover the other half on top and give it a half moon shape. Then, let's press the ends with a fork and close them. Fry both sides of the pastry in hot oil. Let's take them  to a paper towel lined plate and then take it to the serving plate. Enjoy your meal.
